At JA Elite Carpentry, we pride ourselves on offering a wide variety of high quality and professional services that our clients can benefit from. We undertake carpentry work, loft conversions, extensions, roofing, kitchens and bathrooms, bespoke furniture, storage, flooring and garden and landscaping. Carpentry
Being our main passion for why we work in the building industry, we excel in all carpentry jobs. We undertake all Carpentry and joinery works. From 1st fix installations of floor or roof joists to complex cut and pitch roofing and truss roof, all the way to the finer 2nd fix door hanging and mouldings.
Loft Conversions
Loft conversions are a carpenter’s bread and butter. Being a structure mostly composed of timber and some steel, these are great project for us. In most cases clients need extra bedrooms or space for the family, and instead of moving house, which is far more effort, adding space and value to your current home is a great alternative. The 5 – 8 week conversion project (depending on size) will cause some disruptio, but the outcome is always worth it. We’ve never had a client say otherwise.
Extensions
Extensions come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. We’ve completed many single rear and side extensions, and in some cases, wrap round extensions. Giving clients the much needed space for a new kitchen, living or dinning area. In some cases, with semi detached houses, it’s possible to build a double story extension (subject to planning permission), which will add value to the property while almost doubling the space internally. These types of plots are really sought after by developers for this reason.
Roofing
Roofing has two sides: pitched or flat. Pitched roofing has many types of tile or slate finishes available, all of which we can supply and install. Flat roofing also gives you options on the finish. The most common is a torch on felt roof. Which we generally tend not to advise but can offer. Within the last few years there are serval other superior flat roofing systems that relative to felt aren’t necessary more expensive depending on your roof design. But come with a much higher manufacturers guarantee. GRP – Fibreglass roofing has a great solid finish perfect for balcony’s and roofs that may have higher foot traffic. It’s also great when you obscure or usual shapes or pipes to weather round. These flat roofs come with a 25 year manufacture guarantee.
EPDM – Single ply rubber roofs come with a whopping 50 year guarantee. Comes with a sleek dark grey finish, with black trimmings. Its by far our most popular choice due to its appearance and guarantee. Most if not all of these roofs will still be around when I retire!
Kitchen and Bathrooms
Being generally the two most expensive rooms in a house to renovate, its important both are fitted by professionals, to ensure no issue arise for the foreseeable future. We fitted any and all pre made kitchen, from all the wells known suppliers. (Howdens, Wickes, Paula Rosa, etc.) we also handle all the plumbing and electrics, tiling, painting and so on involved if required.
We can also offer a fully bespoke kitchen design service, from planning and design, to manufacturing and installation. Our off-site joinery workshop gives us the perfect location to build each unit to the millimetre and deliver with confidence. These are also one of our favourite projects to undertake, and surprisingly can sometimes be cheaper than prefabricated kitchens from local suppliers. With free quotes, it never hurts to ask.
Bespoke Furniture and Storage
Goes without saying we can design and create any custom storage, cupboards, built in furniture, shelving. As complicated or simple as you like, fully hand painted finish or with our online suppliers we can offer custom sized fully finish laminate slabs in all size and sizes. We’ve built custom beds, modern TV units, bespoke stairs cases and so much more. Perhaps you should ask us what we can’t build for you?
Gardens and Landscaping
We can also help revitalise your garden, if your looking for a face lift or just had building work and your garden needs a little help, we can certainly do that. From patios and brickwork to summer houses and log cabins. We can handle the lot.
All windows and doors – we can supply and fit all manor of windows and doors weather its bespoke sizes sashes to suit to the properties era and style. Or more modern Aluminium and UPVC casements.
Flooring
Floor finishes really set rooms apart. That’s why we offer a range to coverings, solid wooden flooring, laminate, tiled finishes, luxury vinyl tiles.
